Mix and Mingle Oosterdam October 15 cruise

Is there a mix and mingle on this cruise? Looking forward to meeting new people and seeing the sites. Have visited Naples,Amalfi coast,Pompei and looking for different tours rather than the HA excursions. Anyone doing anything different?

I doubt that any HAL representative will recommend excursions that won't put money into HAL's pockets.
