Iluvcruising2 Posted April 27, 2012 #2 Share Posted April 27, 2012 HiDoes anyone know how far the Singapore Flyer is from the dock? Thanks Edna Depends on where your ship is docking. From the new cruise terminal, it is near, about 10 min by cab. From harbour front it is a bit further, say 20 min by cab.
edste Posted April 27, 2012 Author #3 Share Posted April 27, 2012 Hi Thanks for the information. Is there anywhere to eat once we get there? Is it an amusement area? Edna
MightyQuinn Posted April 27, 2012 #4 Share Posted April 27, 2012 Is there anywhere to eat once we get there? Is it an amusement area? Singapore Flyer is not an amusement area but it does have shopping and eateries on-site. If you'll be in Singapore before May 31, 2012 you can take advantage of their 4th Anniversary Tourist Special. It is 2-for-1 on a Singapore Sling Flight, which is normally priced at S$69 pp. You get express boarding, so you bypass all the lines, as well as entry into a special themed capsule. Then they serve you the legendary SS (non-alcoholic versions available) while you enjoy the scenery. The promo says to show your passport to get this special, but we didn't have to when we went earlier this month.

edste Posted April 28, 2012 Author #6 Share Posted April 28, 2012 Hi Your information has been extremely helpful. We're go there right after our tour and hopefully the bus will be able to drop us somewhere near the Singapore Flyer so we'll have more time there. Edna If you have Google Earth, you can take a look at the area. Type in Singapore Flyer. From Singapore Flyer, you can easily walk to Marina Square, which is a large mall. The walk shouldn't take more than 5 minutes. If you don't like the food options are the Singapore Flyer, there are many more options are Marina Square. http://www.marinasquare.com.sg/
