Recent Dawn Bermuda Cruisers - I Have Questions

I am trying NCL for the first time.

I am not sure what they call the ships daily newspaper, does anyone have any copies they could share? Just wanting an idea of what goes on during sea days. Any don't miss suggestions?

Also, do they have comedian shows, other entertainers? I seen the production show line up, sounds great, just wondering what else we will be able to see.

Looking forward to our first time! Counting down the final days!

The best way to find these is a forum search for "Dawn dailies". https://boards.cruisecritic.com/search.php?searchid=133904215

Some were posted in June on this thread: https://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=2640298&highlight=dawn+dailies

Just go down to message #10.

Hope that helps!

Thank you so much! I didn't know what it was called for the search. The link to the June thread was very helpful!

Just went on the Dawn to Bermuda 7/20-7/27/18 they didn't have a daily paper. Great cruise.

That's very strange.

We are about to go on our 31st cruise with NCL and there has always been a daily delivered to our cabin each evening. It lists the next days activities, hours venues will be open, and usually includes some pages about spa, shopping or laundry specials.

We had a lot of fun, but we don't go to the shows or any of those type of things. When we cruise, we're mostly on the ship to relax, walk around, and sometimes visit the casino a little. We found all of the employees to be wonderful. O'Sheehan's was probably our favorite free place to eat, but we don't do MDRs at all. The Java Cafe was quick, even when there was a long line. And their lattes were pretty good (I get mine iced with extra espresso and vanilla.) I will try to take pics of the dailies and upload them, but have not done well at uploading in the past... my files are always too large.

Dawn shopping questions-

Did you see Citizen watches 'on sale'?

Did you see the Gold/Silver by the Inch available more than one day? (The link to the dailies above had them on Day 7.)

I have a lot of OBC to spend and just not sure how much shopping is available on the Dawn. I don't want to wait until the last day and have unused non-refundable OBC.

Didn't see Citizens - they made a big deal about the Invicta watches. Probably best to get an idea of good prices ahead of time. One of the TV shopping networks is big into Invicta if you're curious. Only saw the gold by the inch on one day.

Thanks for the response! I'll be watching for the one day gold by the inch as I've enjoyed the bracelets I've had made in the past.

Invicta just isn't my style, but I'll figure out a way to use that OBC.....another first world problem!;)

This was part of the insert on day 6. So, I'm not sure how much they are "on sale," but they have Citizen watches.

Thank you for posting that!

I love the Citizen Eco-Drive watches. This could be a good use for that OBC. Now I can scout it out early in the cruise and see if they have something I am interested in then watch for the 'sale'......if there is one.
