Yes but I would recommend you have some form of return transport pre-arranged.

Plenty of time, but there are no taxis stationed on that side of the island. Make sure you have a way to get back to port!

You might want to go to taxi stand at port and ASK for an island tour, that way you get a driver assigned to you. Tell him you want to see the other side of island. He will wait for you at each stop, or if you want to stay at Coconuts the whole time, he will wait for you there.

Lots of time. Just rent a scooter or a jeep so you don't have to worry about getting back.

...because there is no electricity on east side of island. All cash at every establishment.

They power the music and other limited electrical needs with a bunch of car batteries.
