Snorkeling Excursion- Short

Hello,

We are on the Independence of the Seas in February and would like to do a snorkeling excursion in Cozumel. We don't want one that is going to eat up the entire day. A 2 hour one would be ideal (and also not at the crack of dawn)... Do these exist? Also, can you bring your own mask? And one more, how is the water temp in mid February?

I've enjoyed snorkeling in Coz during Feb. We used Eagle Ray a couple of years ago and were happy, but I seem to recall it taking more than 2 hours. You might look at snorkeling from the shore at the Money Bar - great facilities, rental gear (I bring my own prescription mask), plus good food/drinks/service. Taxi from the piers should be about $12 each way (fare covers up to 4 passengers in the cab). Have a great cruise! :cool:

Thanks John! Aside from the taxi expense, are there any other charges to snorkel at Money Bar (have own equipment)

Water temp is between 79-81 degrees F in February.

No admission fee. You'll pay a couple of bucks if you need a locker and it is polite to give them some foo/drink business. I always bring my own prescription mask and rent fins and a vest from them.
