Recommendation For Hotels In Miami?

Just booked a cruise for end of August. I know we have lots of time, but would like to start the research.

Am Looking for a hotel that provides shuttle to and from port, and also allows you to park your car, preferably for free, while on the cruise. Any suggestions helpful.

Hotels in downtown Miami and Miami Beach charge their customers $25-30+/day for parking, so the hotels offering parking deals will be out near the MIA airport.

Budget options often suggested on this board that include shuttles to POM include La Quinta East and Springhill Suites Medical Center. Sometimes the downtown Hampton Inn Mary Brickell offers parking deals - the low season of August may be one of those times.

You may be better off staying somewhere cheap north of Miami and then parking at POM.

We just got 3 rooms @ $120 each at EB Hotel thru Last Minute Travel. I believe my sister said it was free parking and $5 per day while on cruise. Let us know what you decide.
