OK. Thank you for the prompt reply.

 

Our friends are sailing in the Royal Suite. Can they expect any correspondence, from the ship, before we sail? This is their first cruise.

Possibly, depends on the management, They have been known to have a "suite ambassador" in the past, but that was not a permanent position.

when we had the Royal Suite on Monarch there was no pre-cruise communication. The check in agent saw we were in the RS and went and got the Guest Services manager to escort us onboard. She turned us over to the Suite Ambassador who escorted us to our room prior to the usual 1 pm opening time. There was a bottle of champagne waiting for us in the room. That was the only special treatment we got the whole cruise.
