Carnival Horizon

Does anyone have any information on how the ship is coming along?

New venues or added spaces? Is she on schedule? any news?

Looking forward to sailing on her, but haven't seen much information.

Only thing I do know is that my niece and her family/friends are already booked out on NY next year.

The ship has finished sea trials, and now goes for final fitting.

She sure looks pretty out on the water.

One thing announced is it will not have a Red Frog Pub. It will be replaced by Guys Pig & Anchor Smokehouse & Brewery.

So I'm just curious, since you don't drink do you not go to any of the venues on the ships for other reasons...like the music or trivia or dancing? The Red Frog Pub had a lot of great live music and I know people liked the trivia. That's just one example. Not judging about drinking just wondering what activities or venues you then go to.

I have one of those new balconies. It doesn't look you will be able to see down to the water.

I am all over the ship when I cruise. Hasbro game, comedy club, dance club, lido deck activities and so much more. I miss the live bands and the orchestra that used to play. I avoid the smoking areas which includes the casino. I did make it to the Sports bar last cruise where I enjoyed a few glasses of pineapple juice served up by Mr. Nikolai. I don't condemn drinking either, but this guy can have fun without it.

I agree, just wasn't sure what to expect since this is the first ship with them. Doing the family cruise so when they added the balcony I thought I would try it.
