Hoping someone can help me. My husband, myself along with 4 other couples will be sailing on the Norwegian Getaway this February. This will be the first cruise on this line for all of us. I have a few questions and was wondering if maybe someone can answer them. Such as reservations for shows? best bars? and such. Thank you

Reservations for shows and specialty dining opened 90 days prior to your cruise and will sell out.

I thought they held some shows rezzies back so people can book once on board? Comedy you can only book once on the ship. Theatre shows you can reserve at the 90-day mark.

I always download the NCL app and when I'm waiting for my cabin to be ready, I'll scroll through and book the comedy / magician, etc shows then.

If you wait too long, you'll have to go standby.

Definitely book any specialty dinners at the 90-day mark. Those are few and far between if you wait to book when you are on board.
