Steakhouse on Dream

We just got off a cruise on the Carnival Dream and had an incident in the Steakhouse. We were forgotten by our waiter and people that were there after us were eating their steaks and we never even received our salads. We complained and in a few minutes, were brought two plates but we ordered steaks and these were Surf and Turf. We told them we did not order that and they hurried away to cook two filets for us. They were terrible and tasted burned on the outside and almost raw on the inside. Again we complained. They brought us a bottle of wine for our trouble and the girl at the door came by and told us there would be no charge for the meal. We were not even brought a check to sign. Well, a $70 charge showed up on our account anyway. We went to the front desk and complained but they would not remove the charge even though we didn’t sign a check. Can anyone suggest who we can contact to talk about having the charge removed? I don’t understand how they can charge us without us signing a check.:( We never did receive a salad.

Why did you not handle this on the cruise? It was on your folio. You went to guest services and they said no?

That's terrible! We ate at the Steakhouse on the Dream in November, and we had 2 waitresses. Both were excellent and very attentive to our party of 6. Everything came out as ordered and in the correct order. What did Guest Services say onboard?

Call credit card company and protest the charge.
