Port Canaveral - Alamo pick up

Hi guys

we are an Australian couple taking a TA cruise in Nov that ends at Port Canaveral, we need to drive to Miami so will rent a car from Alamo. Can we walk from the ship (NCL Epic) to the office? Our ship arrives at 8am so trying to pick a suitable time for pickup - 11am?

probably not

altho the Alamo office is in the port, it is only walkable from Terminal 1 which is the primary terminal for RCL

primary terminal for NCL has been terminal 10 .... alto this is not very far from the Alamo office, for security and safety resons the port does not allow foot traffic from T-10 to the Alamo office area .....

unfortunately I don't see a port berth schedule for PC beyond 1 October yet. It is possible EPIC could use T-1 IF RCL has no ship on the day in question. Tyically it is in use Sunday, Monday and Friday at minimum

Is the shuttle automatically waiting at the ship or do you need to request it with your reservation?

We are not in any rush so might just push the pick up back to 12pm and get off the ship at a leisurely pace - what do you think?

IME all the rental shuttles were making regular stops for all the terminals ... they MIGHT ask to see some sort of proof of the reservation .. anything you can print would be fine ... a confirmation number ..

also IME they will try to have everyone off the ship by 10 ....
