Finding a Luxury Cruise That Fits

Interesting, however, I find the use of the "SUITE" designation to be very misleading. A suite is two or more rooms, not 300 sq. ft. inc. balcony in one room.

Unfortunately many hotels and ships now call almost anything a suite if it's bigger than a walk-in closet! Can we get back to a real definition of a SUITE!:(

Very well done article! I understand the "suite" concept for luxury ships. While 300 sq. ft. is small for a hotel room, it is quite large for a cabin/suite on a cruise ship (comparing it with cabins the size of closets on some mainstream lines). On Regent and Silversea, there is a definite separation between the bedroom and the living room area. "Regular" suites on many of the luxury ships are the largest at sea. Let's let them brag a little:confused:
