Oceania and bringing wine aboard during the trip for your cabin.

My husband and I are going on a 35 day cruise from San Diego through the Panama Canal, Amazon and end in Brazil. We are travelling with Oceania aboard the ship, Sirena. The cruise line allows passengers to bring 3 bottles of wine on board at embarkation for your stateroom. Has anyone ever picked up wine at the ports along the way? Was there a problem taking it aboard?

There are no restrictions, except that you may only use the imported bottles in your cabin, unless you pay corkage..

Oceania will even store them and serve them beautifully whenever you choose. Free in the Cabin, a $25 corkage fee in a restaurant or a Lounge.

Enjoy!
