Any suggestions on hotels for day use or resort for a day? We have a flight from FLL leaving at 6:30pm on a Sunday and not sure what to do for the day, do not want to rent a car. Thanks

Another option is to go directly to the airport and there is a place on site that will store your luggage and then get transport back and enjoy the day walking around Fort Lauderdale.

Roadway Inn is a budget motel often suggested on this board for day rates.

I like Keith's suggestion of storing your bags and then heading out for the water taxi, a long lunch, etc.
