claytons one Posted May 13, 2018 #1 Share Posted May 13, 2018 Hi. We are booked on Deck 15 Lido deck Interior Cabin on the Ruby Princess. December sailing from Auckland NZ for the Bay of Islands. What experience have others had with this deck please. We are in L241. It seems a good deck as far as proximity to pools and eateries. Thoughts from past experiences please. :halo:
CruiserBruce Posted May 13, 2018 #2 Share Posted May 13, 2018 Welcome to Cruise Critic! The far better place for your questions is the portion of Cruise Critic devoted to Princess, located here: https://boards.cruisecritic.com/forumdisplay.php?f=
Nebr.cruiser Posted May 13, 2018 #3 Share Posted May 13, 2018 We've been on the Lido deck (balcony though) several times and really like the convenience of being so close to the pool, buffet, etc. I guess it could be rockier, being so high, than lower cabins, but so far it wasn't an issue for us. Sometimes those cabins have solid steel balcony rails instead of glass; didn't mind that.
jlp20 Posted May 14, 2018 #4 Share Posted May 14, 2018 Rule of thumb, the higher you are, the more you feel the rocking effect of back and forth as well as side to side. Being far forward or aft gets the up and down movement.
