bev77 Posted September 23, 2009 #1 Share Posted September 23, 2009 Is it true, the Sun will be in drydock till late 2010. We were looking to book Sun for a Baltic cruise in June 2010. What ship will be doing the Baltic?
TMLAalum Posted September 23, 2009 #2 Share Posted September 23, 2009 We didn't consider NCL because the Baltic cruise for '10 was changed from the Jewel to the Sun. I'm happy with our choice of the new Celebrity Eclipse, because of the longer itinerary and pp price per day of @188 for a balcony room which was comparable to the prices I was finding for the Sun for their 12-day. But had the voyage been on one of NCL's newer ship, we may have booked with them.

What ship will be doing the Baltic? The Sun is departing Miami for Dover UK on 26th April 2010, it will then be doing 12 days Baltic Capitals. (on NCL's website, it's in with the 27 day Miami to London) We did this on the Jewel in Aug/Sept this year..............best cruise we have ever done. The highlight of the cruise for us was the two day private tour we had in St. Petersburg...........FANTASTIC!!!!!!! :D
