on board activities available when ships in port??

Hi,

 

If we decided not to spend a full day in port is everything on board still available, rockwall, flowrider, restuarants, gym etc etc - we are on FOS?

yes - except the casino and the shops. Spa often runs in port specials.

oh yes lots of ship activities. They want you to stay on ship to spend money :) It is a great opportunity to get spa appointments. They usually have specials on port days, go to the gym, or enjoy a little quiet around the pool. Just read your compass they will be offering all kinds of activities. You will be surprised how many do stay on ship or just go shop near the docks for a few hours then spend the afternoon having lunch and enjoying the ship.

The pool is lovely on a port day---it's almost like your own, private yacht! The dining room isn't always open for lunch on port days, but the buffet will be.

You will also find that they don't have as many cruise-staff-lead activies (trivia, pool contests) while the ship is in port, but the sports type activities will be open (at least for certain hours - check your compass) and the gym, etc. will be open.
