jean 50ny Posted April 14, 2004 #27 Share Posted April 14, 2004 We were on the Summit 3-26-04. Don't know if it was a reunion cruise-just know it was so wonderful--that ship is one of our favorites. Jean
gardencat Posted April 14, 2004 #28 Share Posted April 14, 2004 I think I've found a new home! I love creme brulee but no one else in my family cares for it much. Can I be adopted by all the creme brulee lovers on this board?
stomsf Posted April 14, 2004 #29 Share Posted April 14, 2004 gardencat -- Creme Brulee is AWESOME! One of the best valentine's day gifts I received from my honey is a carmelizing torch -- making Creme Brulee isn't complete without being able to scorch some raw sugar!! Just had one in Harrods in London and it was not the same. Don
gardencat Posted April 15, 2004 #31 Share Posted April 15, 2004 The best creme brulee I've had so far was (believe it or not ) in a Japanese restaurant! They served three tiny roun dishes on a long thin tray. One was flavoured with green tea, one with lychee and the last flavour I don't remember. The flavours were subtle but each was dictinctive and then of course tht litle hard crust of carmalized sugar. Yum! can't wait to try it on celebrity. Please don't take those off the menu. Senga Posted April 15, 2004 Author #32 Share Posted April 15, 2004 You can request creme brulee every night of the cruise; just mention it to your waiter and he will have the maitre'd arrange it.

richkinkade Posted April 18, 2004 #35 Share Posted April 18, 2004 We waited over 45 minutes to board the Zenith last November. Of course, it was so windy the gangplank blew down and we had to switch to boarding on a lower deck. Until my Zenith Thanksgiving cruise
