Ladies please help me !!!

grammagrace

Recommended Posts

I have really nice hair usually and don't need to spend a fortune on hair products, but I find when I am on a cruise, there is something in the water that makes my hair look so limp. I usually use mousse, but it seems to do nothing. My hair is totally flat.

Can anyone recommend some good products that might help me !

Try not using too much shampoo---the water's so soft, that it takes FOREVER to rinse the shampoo out! You probably won't need as much conditioner, either.

I have hair that won't hold curl in humid conditions....so my hair tends to be much less "bouncy" than in a drier climate....I just re-curl as needed! (Hairspray, a flexible kind, does help!)

I would either drastically cut down on conditioner or water it down. And if you normally use other styling products, go lightly with those too. I have the opposite problem - the humidity adds wayyyyy toooo much volume to my hair if I don't straighten the dickens out of it and use Chi Silk Infusion.

I'm an "Aveda" girl, and have fine hair, but lots of it. Confixor works for me!

I think different techniques work for different hair textures. I have super fine hair that can get limp. When I am having the same issues as grammagrace, I use conditioner only on the ends of my hair, avoiding the roots, and rinse thoroughly. Then style as usual. I spritz a bit of hair spray onto my fingertips then work my fingers into the roots of my now dry, styled hair to fluff up the roots and lift a bit.:)
