cbressler76 Posted November 30, 2009 #1 Share Posted November 30, 2009 My two boys (7 and soon to be 4 yr old), husband and I will be sailing on the Valor in Feb.!! We are so excited! We will be in a balcony room on the upper level of the ship. I was wondering if anyone had any pictures of the room, ship or places you visited..... or if you have any advice or a review that I could look at! I want to show my boys, so that they have something to look forward to...

Sdallnct Posted November 30, 2009 #3 Share Posted November 30, 2009 You can see a day by day account of my experience on the Valor for our 20 year anniversary at a blog I created. I have some pic's (but I realize not many of the ship, I may go back and add). You can see/read it by clicking on the link in my signature. Wonder if the 4 year old will fight him for it Might not be your cabin but majority of the cabins all look the same your two boys will be in seperate camps- 2-5 6-8 are the age groups. minncruisers Posted November 30, 2009 #6 Share Posted November 30, 2009 You can also go to webshots . com and enter "carnival valor" in the search box. You might have to weed through a lot of pictures of just the ship but I enjoy looking at all of them.:)
Shanruns Posted November 30, 2009 #7 Share Posted November 30, 2009 We just got off of the Valor yesterday with our two (7.5 and 4.5) and we stayed on the Panorama deck (cabin 1064) and we LOVED it!!! Perfect location and I wouldn't change a thing! Room does get a little crowded with 4 people and all of the stuff you get along the way, but it didn't bother us! I have a few pictures... let me see if any would show you how the room was... As for the camp, they will be in different groups, but for eating etc..they are near each other..my kids said they saw each other quite a bit. cbressler76 Posted December 1, 2009 Author #8 Share Posted December 1, 2009 Thank you all for your info!! serene56 Posted December 1, 2009 #9 Share Posted December 1, 2009 You said you have a balcony on the upper deck. Hoping it is an even side cabin. There are some cabins that will get late night noise. example-- across from the casino bar is a band that will set up after 9pm you dont want your cabin located in that area-- especially with kids. --

minncruisers Posted December 1, 2009 #16 Share Posted December 1, 2009 here's my review of the valor from march 09.http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=963957 I'm loving your review and I'm only halfway through it. I'll come back to it later. I've been perusing the boards for all Valor reviews and I think yours is the best. I absolutely love your humor. You had me laughing out loud a couple of times so much that my DD asked what was so funny. BTW, great pics and great looking family.
