Club 02....15-17 year olds had their own place to hang....the Caboose on the Valor. Things planned all day, with a few advisors in there from the Camp....they could just hang out in the Caboose, or participate...

water balloon volleyball, poker tournament, fear factor, karaoke, x-box hang, dancing, etc....

Were your kids in that age group when you sailed? Did a lot of teens participate? We're going on the Conquest in June; somebody who just came back said they never saw anyone at the teen club and nobody showed up for the teen meet and greet!:( Although they did sail off-season, it was posted that there were over 500 kids on board. It seems hit and miss with teens........hopefully we'll have a more active teen group on our cruise.

Is there a club on the Triumph for 15-18 year olds too? My son will be 15 and daughter almost 18. They are so afraid the cruise will be boring and no other teens.

Not sure about a dedicated teen club, but there will be some Camp Carnival activities for them (more for the 15 year old, very limited for the 18 year old). Watch the Carnival Capers (newsletter you are given on the ship) for the teen meet and greet for the first night. They should be able to find friends that way. If the meet and greet isn't well attended they've got to be outgoing and make sure they make some friends...somebody has to be the first to say hello. If this happens, you may have to help. Don't be shy! For example, I've introduced kids to my kids near the pool, hot tub, ping pong tables, elevator..... After the initial horror:) , everything worked out just fine. You're cruising near spring break, so there should be other teens on board.

We are planning our third cruise with our kids (who will be 15 and 17). They haven't been bored yet. It's their favorite kind of vacation. Have fun!

Just got off the miracle. Every night the disco was under 18 only until about 11pm. TONS of kids attending (of course it was Christmas). They had a Camp Carnival gal watching the door to make sure no adults and no little kids went in. And there were lots of teens at the shows, especially the adult humor shows.

My son was one week shy of 15...and they let him in the 15-17 group. We sailed over Christmas, so there was over 900 kids on board. He participated in a few of the organized things...won a medal for the poker tournament, but for the most part just hung around in a group of about 8-10 kids he met on the first night.
