Beds on Costa?

Are the rooms and beds/bedding nice on Costa-I love the beds on Holland America and Oceania. How does Costa compare? I am not worried about the food because I never have a problem finding food I enjoy. I am more concerned about the standard rooms and the beds. Thank You

Don't forget Costa is an Italian cruise line.:(

The do not have beds, just straw stuffed mattresses laid on the floor, you get to become very close to nature, the lastest craze in Italy.

Just heard that as the Netherlands is slowly sinking into the North Sea, Holland America in sympathy with the Netherlands are changing all their beds over to water beds.

You should not be worried about the food on Costa - because you don't get none.

Why not do a search on this forum?

We found the beds to be much the same as on other lines (RCI, X, Azamara, NCL) in that they are far too hard for us.

The room attendant did not know of any foam toppers like we have had on other lines, but used the method we have experienced before of putting the spare duvet on top of the mattress below the sheet.

All cabins on Costa are reasonable to excellent.you can ask for extra everything, and egg-crate foam should you require them (these are limited and can depend on when you board)

Cabin grades prices are fairly close together and times a Suite or Mini-suite is just a few Pounds more than a balcony.

The Costa brochure (out shortly) give a good idea on all layouts.

You can also take a look on line, by selecting a cruise then go though different cabin styles.

Not sure I agree they are not up to HAL standard, I think they are on par with most top end lines.
