pm Posted December 7, 2009 #2 Share Posted December 7, 2009 We were on the Legend 2 years ago and they handed out champagne while boarding. Not just as you were getting on the ship but circulating with trays all over the ship. We all had a hangover by the time we had the lifeboat drill. Decorations for that cruise were still there. On New Year's Eve tdinner in the dining room was especially festive and here was a big deck party with a big countdown to midnight and more champagne. We were with family and everyone had a great time. Wish we could do it again this year, going to try for next year. Enjoy!

yogi2929 Posted December 7, 2009 #6 Share Posted December 7, 2009 We sailed on the Paradise the first cruise in Jan in 2006, not the NYE cruise though. Decorations were up when we got on the ship and almost down by the time when we left.

Who Dat? Nobody! Saints 12-0. My husband and I will be on that cruise also. We are looking forward to it. He's hoping they show the game on the ship. It's also our anniversary that day(Jan 3rd) and being the loving wife I am I don't care if he watches the game and I will be in the spa at the time. My husband is a huge Saints fan so showing the game will make the cruise even that more special for him.
texankhj Posted December 8, 2009 #8 Share Posted December 8, 2009 We have sailed serveral times out of Galveston on the Conquest in Jan. They always showed the games in the sports bar and would have 1 game on the big screen at the pool. I am counting on the Saints game being shown on Sunday, Jan.3rd. Happy Aniversary!
