Pearl or jewel??

Am looking at booking Pearl or Jewel for NY Eve as RCCL hasn't dropped their prices. I am traveling wth 20 and 21 year old sons. Which would you recommend? I have never sailed NCL...do they have the steel band by the poolside...that's my favorite...the boys are more interested in teh clubs at night. Thanks for the advice.
