Splendor and PV time?

Typically you will dock a few hours earlier than 9am ships time, which is 10am local time. Much of the activities are very aware of your time difference and ship departure time. Most passengers are typically back on board at least an hour before departure. It has not been a stressful arrival or departure port for us, nor for passengers we have talked to; although many here planning for a first time cruise visit to PV are concerned about the time difference. A few years back, there was only one pier, and many ships had to tender in. Now there is more pier room, and cruise ships rarely have to tender. Your ship has priority and will have pier space. We have not tendered into PV for many years.

Do they defer? If we dock at 9am ship time, what time is it on land?

Ship's time is one hour BEHIND Vallarta local time for nearly all ships in a standard 7-day Mexican Riviera cruise.

Passengers aboard Splendor have been reporting that their actual arrival time in Vallarta was between 0730 and 0800 ship's time (0830-0900 local).

Enjoy!
