I am mainly interested in the Texas hold em tables and the sportsbook. any info would be great. Poker- what are the limits? Are all the tables computerized or do they have live dealers? What r the tournaments buy in and schedules? Sportsbook- what is the min / max bet? Thanks

waterbug123 Posted January 30, 2010 #3 Share Posted January 30, 2010 Are all the tables computerized or do they have live dealers? I know one of the roulette tables is all computerized/electronic. MickeyB426 Posted January 30, 2010 #4 Share Posted January 30, 2010 No live dealers at Texas Hold'Em. Automated dealer. A video table with video screens. Every poker player walks up to it and holds their nose, then they try it, get used to it, then most of them end up liking it. I enjoyed it immensely on the other ships. In two weeks I will enjoy this one!

NicoLee Posted January 31, 2010 Author #7 Share Posted January 31, 2010 Ty mike, Heads up tables r a big rip off unless you are playing for a lot more money than the rake. Which is prob 10% w/ $10 cap.
Aqua Bliss Posted January 31, 2010 #8 Share Posted January 31, 2010 One more thing to note, they had Texas Hold 'Em tournament(s) on-board but they buy-in is $100. Then only the top player (1st place) at that table gets to advance to the next round. The finals start on day 6 and the prize is either a free cruise for 2 (on Oasis) or $1000 depending on how many participants they get. A bit dissapointing for such a high buy in but hey what the heck I was on vacation. I came in 3rd place at my table and *poof* fastest $100 I spent that trip. welove2cruisedou Posted January 31, 2010 #9 Share Posted January 31, 2010 My husband loves to play Texas Hold Em so I guess the casino is where I will be looking for him for most of the Oasis cruise!! Hopefully, he will win big again and pay for our SeaPass bill!!!
