Smoking on Carnival Dream

Hey there, I am looking at booking a family reunion cruise on the Dream for 2011. I spoke with a vacation planner who told me that there is smoking allowed in the staterooms. According to Carnival's website it looks like the spa cabins are the only ones that are non-smoking. As an asthmatic this concerns me. Can anyone who has sailed the Dream confirm whether or not their staterooms has residual smoke smell?

I have never cruised on the Dream. But, I have never smelled left over smoke in any Carnival cabin that I have booked. They do a very good job of sanatizing the rooms between cruises. Everyonce in a while get a whiff in the hall and of course in and around all the bars on other ships the air is filled with smoke. I believe that the Dream actually has more no smoking areas than many of the ships for the convience of most of their passangers.
