Question on a VF Guar Cabin/Stateroom

I am booked on a HAL cruise out of Ft. Lauderdale in March '10 with a GUAR/VF and after doing the online check-in with no cabin assigned yet I am confused. I heard that it was possible that I may not get my cabin assignment until I get to the ship. Now, if that happens what do I do with the luggage I was planning to check curbside as my luggage tags printed during the online check-in process has no cabin # printed on it? Thank you in advance for your reply.

In MOST cases cabins for Guarantees are assigned two weeks or so before the cruise. If not, the porters will know how to handle the luggage and as long as the propper tag with your name is on teh bag the ships' crew will get you your bags.
