Are you wanting to stay close to the port, the airport, or just wherever is a nice place? Price range?

 

I'm from there originally, and to my knowledge there is nothing "nice" near the port. I'll look and see what there is if you'll give me a ballpark on price/area.

What about the Holiday Inn Blount island on Berlin Rd ?... I know of someone who just stayed there ....

We stayed at the Hyatt Place hotel, near the airport, prior to our Fascination cruise 4 months ago. The hotel cost me $49 (via Priceline) and was fantastic! They offer shuttle service to/from airport, but not to the port. Cost me $25 for a (van)cab to the port for 4 of us.

 

Would I stay here again...YES!!! Very nice hotel and the service was fabulous!

I'll go ck that out. We're reserved at Microtel Inn. having stayed at one recently the bed was horrible! even though everything else was nice. So, how were the beds?
