Tampa Marriott Westshore

I got the Tampa Marriott Westshore on Priceline for February 19, 2005. Has anyone stayed there -if so was it a nice Hotel. Also does anyone know of a supermarket in the vicinity. Thanks

disneylynn & happyRN will be staying here on 2/19/05. We're actually going to meet up for a drink, maybe by the pool so all of the kids can meet & swim.

My son and his college buddies stayed there a few years back before their spring break cruise. They said it was "okay", so I'm guessing if that's the impression on college kids, it may not be all that great. They did happen to mention it was next door (or across the street, can't remember which) from a strip club.

TDK4SEV-we're meeting at 7pm by the pool. The pool is indoor/outdoor, we'll be inside.

 

I have relatives living in Tampa, and they said our hotel is very nice. Sometimes people get this Marriott confused with another, I believe there are 4 in Tampa.

We are staying there on the 12th of February. Bid 3* from Priceline and seemed to get a good price. I have posted on another thread looking for feedback just a little while ago. Hopefully, we will get an answer.
