Safes in Stateroom

Is it true that some of the staterooms don't have safes? I've booked an inside room on VOS in April. I'll be devestated without an in-room safe!:confused:

I believe all of the Radiance class and Voyager class rooms have safes. The older ships are having them gradually added. On the Empress I believe all of deck 8 and 9 and about the front half of deck 7 had them.

The Splendour had safes. We used our Sea Pass card to use it. No charge though.

I've never been charged for the use of in-cabin safes. I have only cruised on newer ships and have never had to use my seapass card to access the safe. There are instructions on the door instructing you on how to set your own code for access.

If the older ships don't have safes, than that's probably where I head it from in the first place.

 

I too have used both types of safes, ie; Code and Seapass card...actually I used my credit card, figuring if master key could get into the room, I thought for certain the seapass card could get into my safe...just overly cautious I guess.

 

I'm just relieved that my cabin will infact have a safe. We definitely utilize it for our passports and extra cash

All vision class (including the Grandeur) and newer have safes in all cabins.
