ama-sam Posted April 22, 2010 #1 Share Posted April 22, 2010 I will be on the Mariner in June and Cabo is (thankfully) the only tender port. As I consider excursions, I wonder how long it will take us to get off the ship. I am debating between booking a snorkeling excursion through RCCL (a no brainer, but more expensive) or through an independent company. We arrive at 9:30 and both excursions start at 11:00. Are there significant lines for the tenders? We will have trouble making an 11:00 time for the independent excursion? TIA

They say allow 90 minutes between arrival and your tour. We booked an 11:00 am tour and made it with about 45 minutes to spare.
Pumbaamd Posted April 22, 2010 #3 Share Posted April 22, 2010 We were on Mariner 2/14. Tendering in Cabo is a piece of cake. No worries, the best tender port we've ever been to. Rick and Deirdra
firsttimeRCcruiserMay2010 Posted April 22, 2010 #4 Share Posted April 22, 2010 RCCL wouldn't plan excursions that people couldn't make it on time to would they? They take the tendering into consideration when they plan these excursions don't they?

goofygame Posted April 22, 2010 #6 Share Posted April 22, 2010 In the morning they have tenders running off both the front (larger tenders) and the back (smaller).
KeywestK Posted April 22, 2010 #7 Share Posted April 22, 2010 We were on Radiance last month and had no problems tendering into Cabo. Just give yourself some extra time. There is some good shopping right at the pier in Cabo. Have fun! Karen
