Summit upgrade?

Does anyone happen to know the timing of Summit's upgrade? I see that the Constellation was completed as of today 5/9/10. We are sailing on the Summit 11/2010 and are hoping it would be spruced up prior to our sailing. May just be wishful thinking.....

I believe I heard that Summit does not have her upgrade until sometime in 2011.

Hi,:) Laura posted a link at the top of the forum about Constellation.

At the end of the link there is a paragraph about the other M class

ships:

 

"Constellation is the first ship in the cruise line's Millennium family of vessels to receive such an extensive upgrade; it's part of a $200 million dollar investment over the next three years or so in not just Constellation but also Infinity (fall 2011), Summit (late fall/winter 2011-2012), and Millennium (spring 2012). "

 

You are sailing in November of this year? Looks like Summit's upgrade is happening a year later than that.......

Actually all 3 ships are not being done till 2011 and after.....looks like 2010 is only Constellation.

We have sailed on Infinity and Constellation which were both immaculate and service a notch above the rest so expect Summit will be the same.

According to the below press release from Celebrity, Summit will receive its S class makeover "early in the 2011-2012 season."
