it is alive and well in Spain. I missed it in port by one day!..Darn..but have the Cruze Book from Corte Ingles Travel Dept with the new pics in it. FAB looking, but do recognize some of the rooms and corner shots of the old gal. My heart went thump! Our Coach mates were goinf on 5 B2B's and Grande Holiday was one of them. It just innauged May 10th. Maybe can find a pal to scan and post for me.

She was a great ole' ship but really did need some work done! Her crew is what made her fun in the final years. Keep us posted and have a GREAT time!

Oh, I hope you're able to post pictures! The Holiday was our first cruise (13 years ago) and we fell in love with cruising the moment we stepped on deck. :D

I sailed on the Holiday on her Inagugural Sailing.....what fun that was. She was the first new cruise ship in many years, new ships weren't a dime a dozen then:D

Same with me. I wanted to try to get a cruise in on the Holiday, but never had a chance.

I cruised on the Holiday twice, and loved it... the best waitstaff and room stewards we've ever had. The pictures are amazing, tho.

I had four outstanding cruises on the Holiday. The new owners have done a great job with the updates and makeover. It might be worth a trip to Spain to take one more cruise on her.

Holiday was my very first Carnival ship, so she holds a very special part of my heart. I am so glad to see that she cleaned up so nicely...

 

On her I found out the real reason why they used to call Carnival the "fun" ships *lol*

The Holiday was the very first cruise ship I sailed on back in 1996 and from then there was no stopping me! 24 cruises later with my 25th Milestone cruise coming up on the Spirit in Aug., she holds a very special place in my heart!:):)

I sailed on the Holiday in 2004. She was my first taste at cruising. We had such a good time how could I not catch the cruise bug. I was sorry for her to go, but boy does she look good since the overhaul.

Wow she looks absolutely amazing! Looks like a brand new ship. Wish Carnival could make all their older ships look like she does now.

Wow All I can say is LUCKYY SPANIYARDS. I am sure they will look oh so cool against the swanky new interiors.

 

I forgot about the gym overlooking the pool. Sometimes much more fun that just looking over the bow at the water.

 

Holiday has been reborn !

usually other PIGS, do that!!! and as momma says..it takes one..etc
