What are my chances of OBC?

Hi :)

I am booked in an 8c for the August 21 sailing on the Dream....there is a pack and Go special rate out right now that is cheaper...would this qualify me to get OBC??

 

 

I guess I should add that there are 8c's available, but the Pack & Go rates I can't seem to specify that category??!!

 

also, I booked ES rate!

Did you book Early Saver? If so, then yes I think it's highly likely, if it's for the same, Cabin category, Sailing, ship Etc. Bottom line, it costs nothing to fill out the form.

Your chances are about zip. A BL category is a guarantee, and you cant match 3 categories downward for a price match.

ok, thanks....I really don't quite understand how all these categories and rates work when looking for price drops when booked ES.

 

so should I only be looking at rates where I can specify the exact category of room I am booked in....no need to look at rates where they will have to assign me a room? (called a guarantee??)

Pack-and_Go are Guarantee (IS, OV, BL and ST) bookings, for which you cannot Price Match with ES.

 

The only Price Match with Guarantee bookings: If the Guarantee Category (IS, OV, BL and ST) above your ES Category drops below your ES Rate, you can give-up your assigned ES Cabin for the lower Guarantee Rate and a "TBA" Cabin assignment in that higher category.
