This will be our first time in the Bahamas. I have a passport; however, my sister will be using her birth certificate & driver's license for the cruise.

When we go off sthe hip in Nassau, do we need to take the passport & birth certificate/driver's license, or is the ship card sufficient go get back on board?

Do we have to go through customs in Nassau to reboard the ship?

Photo ID and sign and sail card. Although you can certainly use your PP as your photo ID.

No customs in Nassau. Although they have the right to ask you for your PP getting off or back on. But I've never heard of anyone saying that happened to them.
