newcruiser551951 Posted June 27, 2010 #1 Share Posted June 27, 2010 This will be our first time in the Bahamas. I have a passport; however, my sister will be using her birth certificate & driver's license for the cruise. When we go off sthe hip in Nassau, do we need to take the passport & birth certificate/driver's license, or is the ship card sufficient go get back on board? Do we have to go through customs in Nassau to reboard the ship?
czcruiser13 Posted June 27, 2010 #2 Share Posted June 27, 2010 You will need your seapass card and a photo ID. They check it in the building before you walk to the ship.:)
Rare CruisinCrow Posted June 28, 2010 #3 Share Posted June 28, 2010 You go through customs when you get back to Port Canaveral. Basically all you have to do is fill out the customs form and hand it in when you walk off the ship. Have a great time on Monarch!

Although they have the right to ask you for your PP getting off or back on. But I've never heard of anyone saying that happened to them.
