Porters in Dover don't take tips. We offered, they refused to take it. :)

Actually, there are "No Tipping" signs posted at the terminal in the luggage drop-off area.

Yeppers ... saw those after the fact. Hard to notice when you first arrive in the excitement and pace of everything going on. :cool:

I missed them too.... :o

 

A porter was waiting when I got out of the cab....he grabbed my luggage and disappeared before I could get the tip out of my pocket.

 

I was confused as to why he disappeard so fast...then someone showed me the "no tipping" signs.
