Do you tip bartenders or cocktail servers?

I always get the same service as those that tip extra. After all, the more people they ring up, the more money they make, so why would they ignore you, when they will get auto tipped?

 

And they know they will ring up certain people more then others....they will make more money off them without an extra tip.....they are not stupid;)

You can if you wish. If you are going to be hanging out in a specific bar a lot it never hurts to cultivate a special bar tender. In most cases I believe that the 15% already charged is enough.

 

 

Ditto to that. The last two cruises we've been on, I haven't found the service to be anything more exceptional to warrant anything more than 15%.

I spend the majority of my time in the casino when it is open. I always get a glass of water with my drinks. I always tip $1 and when the casino is busy I never have to wait for drinks. I get free ones too. In the mornings before drinking commences they always bring my water right away. Love those servers.

I usually pick out a waiter in the casino and I get much better service and attention if I tip extra..I always tip extra at the bar and get a very nice "pour" when I go back there...Dennis
