sandandsea lovers Posted July 21, 2010 #1 Share Posted July 21, 2010 Can anyone that has done the 10 day PG cruise clarify the arrival time at the Huahine port please? My itinery shows 12pm which is mid day. I query this because i am trying to work out if we would have to do a half day excursion in the afternoon, instead of Marc's motu picnic which is nearly a full day. Also, Which excursion would you recommend at this port, lagoon or inland?

I query this because i am trying to work out if we would have to do a half day excursion in the afternoon, instead of Marc's motu picnic which is nearly a full day. Also, Which excursion would you recommend at this port, lagoon or inland? Great question about Marc's all day excursion! I'm sure he already knows about the short stays PG is making at Huahine these days. Last July on our 10-night we had a full day at Huahine and the tender took us into the town dock. This year, we anchored at noon, the tender brought us to the other side of the island, and we left at 6PM. I'm sure Marc has adjusted his excursions for his PG clients? We did the PG excursion Lagoon Cruise and Snorkel. We were a bit disappointed in the snorkeling area, but not the cruise through the lagoons and small villages or the talk our guide gave us about the island. Huahine has some very sacred places above the water. I'd go for the land excursions.
sandandsea lovers Posted July 23, 2010 Author #3 Share Posted July 23, 2010 Thankyou Angler Girl, All CC's here are always so helpful to assist us newbies. You all make this cruise sound so wonderful. Bought the waterproof camera today and another suitcase and really can't wait to put them to use now. 3weeks to go............ pacheco18 Posted July 23, 2010 #4 Share Posted July 23, 2010 I had contacted Marc a long time ago -- could not work it out with him because of the arrival time. Maybe I should try again.
sandandsea lovers Posted July 24, 2010 Author #5 Share Posted July 24, 2010 I would be interested if he could do a half day. That was the reason we thought the jet ski tour may be a go as it is not a full day.

How about their famous shark feeding trip - that he can do - just needs 4 people
sandandsea lovers Posted July 24, 2010 Author #7 Share Posted July 24, 2010 Yes, he would that for us for 3000cpf but we will be doing the same as part of Patricks at Bora Bora. I have also sent an email in regard to hiring a car but have not heard back yet. Maybe a 4x4 would be a go here but cannot find a website with an email address. FlightMedic555 Posted July 27, 2010 #8 Share Posted July 27, 2010 We returned yesterday from the 11 night cruise. 12 noon arrival and 5 pm departure. We could not arrange for a private land tour with Marc due to this timing. We did the ship arranged lagoon tour which unfortunately was lousy.
