Grand Prix Racer Posted August 10, 2010 #1 Share Posted August 10, 2010 My DW and I are thing of going on a New Years Eve cruise say 5 nights. For those who have been on a NYE cruise; is there anything special about them other than the celebration at midnight?
kldt Posted August 10, 2010 #2 Share Posted August 10, 2010 We were on the NOS last New Year's. There was the celebration at midnight, and our dinner had a special menu. They also handed out party hats, tiaras, and noise makers in the dining room.
maxs mom Posted August 10, 2010 #3 Share Posted August 10, 2010 They pass out champagne at midnight in most of the bars and public areas. We're getting ready to do our fifth Christmas/NY's cruise. We love it! You don't have to drive home!
The Grumpus Posted August 10, 2010 #4 Share Posted August 10, 2010 We are sailing on Radiance 5-night for NYE. It will be our 3rd NYE cruise in a row and 5th overall. They are a lot of fun, especially the up to midnight celebration. As far as anything else special going on during the week, nothing really except the price;) and their Holiday decoration are still up. Of course if you are D/D+, there's the Diamond Celebration so you'll get some goodie's with that.
