i was wondering why "DH" and other codes are used on cruise critic for husband, wife, and so on....and is there a "list" of these "codes"?? Just wondering??

 

Why...shorter and easier to type.

 

There are a few lists....do a Search from the main boards....I think there is actually a sticky

its not just CC its all types of different boards on the internet...

since i been online the last 11 years i have been on many types of different boards and they all use the lingo..but alot that you see on CC pertains to cruising

HD-Hotel Director

CD-Cruise Director

PCC-Personal Cruise Consultant

TA-Travel Agent or Transatlantic

MDR-Main Dining Room

DH-Darling/Dumb/Dearest Husband/DW-Wife

etc is used on alot of the boards:)

i knew all of them...just not the DH, DW...seems just as easy to put husb or wife! anyway, happy cruising to all!
