Temperature in Dining Rooms

I have heard the temperature in the dining rooms can get kinda cool. I was planning sundresses for my daughter and myself for dinner. Will we be cold?

 

We are crusining on the Valor - Western Route, Feb. 20th.

Definitely bring a shawl or wrap. I was cold, nobody saw my dress!

I was always cold in the dining room and even colder in the show rooms.

On the Triumph, I froze in the dining room and theater. I had a pair of khakis and a cotton sweater that I wore at least two nights. The other clothes I had were all sleeveless, etc. and I was very uncomfortable. Made it a point on my comment card.

I always brought sweaters with me - not just light summer sweaters, but heavy cable-knit sweaters. I was shaking on formal night with my strapless dress even with a pashmina! I thought eating a ton would help, but it didn't! But then again, I am tiny and am cold all the time - the only time I get hot enough to wear shorts is on vacation (cruises).

Its my biggest complaint is how cold teh dining rooms are, I always have to bring sweaters or cover ups of some kind.

in addition to the ever present sweater, a very compact bag to carry your S&S card will come in handy when you are sans pockets.

How about the rest of the ship? Will you need a sweater on deck? or in the lounges?

You will most definitely need a sweater for the lounges too!

During the day, you'll be in shorts and bathing suits and it will (should be) hot. To me, the only place I was ever cold was the theater and dining room. You can adjust your cabin temperature.
