tcworld Posted August 14, 2010 #1 Share Posted August 14, 2010 On some NCL ships you can get an ironing board and iron from the front desk or by asking your room steward. Does this happen on the Epic?
coastalcarolinakid Posted August 14, 2010 #2 Share Posted August 14, 2010 Not sure how to get, but upon dis-embarking this morning, the inside stateroom across from my room had an iron and board in it.
tcworld Posted August 14, 2010 Author #3 Share Posted August 14, 2010 I just called NCL and they said you can request an iron and ironing board from the front desk and you can have it for a couple of hours and then return it.
RhodeIslandVactioner Posted August 14, 2010 #4 Share Posted August 14, 2010 is it true that you can't take a travel iron on board?
coastalcarolinakid Posted August 14, 2010 #5 Share Posted August 14, 2010 We packed one in our suitcase and it made it to our room. We used the anti-wrinkle spray on our clothes when we unpacked, and never needed the iron anyways.

Rare mitsugirly Posted August 15, 2010 #7 Share Posted August 15, 2010 is it true that you can't take a travel iron on board? Yes, it's true. You are not allowed to take any irons on board. It's a fire safety issue. You can tell you steward that you need one and they'll bring you one to borrow (which is what everyone has told me).
