kk99 Posted September 23, 2010 Author #26 Share Posted September 23, 2010 Hi everyone, Joan, you are more than welcome to post to your roll call. I hope to have some more slides of the ship up tonight. Mary, thanks for posting the menu back up of 150. I know I have the piece of paper somewhere, just not at hand. Anyone have any questions about the ship, dining venues, spa, casino, shows, etc? I'll be happy to try and answer, Kelcie
Mewissy Posted September 23, 2010 #27 Share Posted September 23, 2010 Hi! Thank you so much for posting this! Since you ate at every venue, I was wondering what you thought of Giovanni's table specifically? We have considered making a lunch reservation there for one of the days we are at sea. Thanks! Poorplaya Posted September 23, 2010 #28 Share Posted September 23, 2010 Wow, great videos, great pictures, thank you so much for going to the lengths you did to post of all this so far. Makes look more and more forward to the cruise we're going on here in a few months. Glad your group had such a great time.
suesrn3 Posted September 23, 2010 #29 Share Posted September 23, 2010 Hi Guys,I still don't have a fraction of my pictures done, but here are 3 slideshows, of our precruise parties, Flowriders, and our Pub Crawl. We actually visited all 30 places on the ship that serve alcohol(but of course didn't have drinks in all of them) and took pictures at each place. We made lots of people's videos and pictures, and it was a blast to do. It took about 3 and a half hours to complete and we did it on a sea day. Any questions, I'll try and answer. I'll try and get some of the others up tomorrow. Kelcie I want to do a pub crawl!!! :D How many people did you have doing it? Was there a list you were going by? Cruising89143 Posted September 23, 2010 #33 Share Posted September 23, 2010 I'm at work and can't watch the video quite yet, but will as soon as I get home. I just wanted to thank you for saying a couple of times that you need more than a week on this ship. DH and I are booked on the Allure for a B2B (our first), and now he's worried we'll be bored the second week! I don't think so!! You won't be bored on this ship. Far from it. Actually after two straight times on the Oasis earlier this year, we cruised again on the Freedom last month and while it was a good cruise and beautiful ship, it just doesn't measure up to Oasis. The entertainment was a notch below Oasis.

I have to say that the one difference that really stands out is the Solarium. The Oasis was just too hot and it never felt refreshing in the Solarium. We never saw any of the shows except comedy and Splish Splash but I missed having a welcome aboard show, farewell show, magic show, motown review and I while it is exceedingly cheesy, I like the murder mystery dinner on the Freedom :) Who knows, we may go back to the Freedom and say "what were we thinking?". I'll let ya know after May 2011 :D

The entertainment on Oasis has blown away anything that I have seen on any other ship or line. The only ship that I have seen the magic show on was Freedom but after seeing it twice now, that is enough. :)
