sk8teacher Posted February 17, 2005 #1 Share Posted February 17, 2005 Is there any difference in what is offered at dinner time between the main dining room and the Lido or is it the same, just served buffet style in the Lido? Thanks!

doone Posted February 17, 2005 #4 Share Posted February 17, 2005 Your welcome, when are you sailing the Volendam? I am sailing her March 20th. She's a beautiful ship and you certainly will enjoy her.

Krazy Kruizers Posted February 17, 2005 #6 Share Posted February 17, 2005 The Lido usually offers 5 of the 7 entrees. Your are served the entree - the rest is buffet style.
doone Posted February 17, 2005 #7 Share Posted February 17, 2005 You may want to check out the Pinnacle Grill as well. Its another alternative dining option where you make reservations. This option will cost you $10 per person on the first evening onboard or $20 the rest of the time. Either way, I find it to be an excellent value. the2ofus Posted February 17, 2005 #8 Share Posted February 17, 2005 Does anyone have a diagram of the Volendam Dining Room? How far ahead can you reserve the first night at Pinnacle Grill? We're sailing October 26th. Not that I'm anxious of course :o I just love being in preparation mode!
doone Posted February 18, 2005 #9 Share Posted February 18, 2005 I believe you can book the Pinnacle 60 days ahead, but not sure about that. You do, however, need to call ships services to book the Pinnacle, and have your credit card ready as they will put the charges immediately on your card. sk8teacher Posted February 18, 2005 Author #10 Share Posted February 18, 2005 Thanks for all the great information. We are going on their Alaskan cruise leaving Vancouver the end of June (26 I think). It's a 7 day run combined with a 7 day bus tour of the NW through YMT out of CA. It's our first real cruise other than Mississippis River cruising which we greatly love! We are going on our third there in Dec.
