Soda card on carnival

I am sailing in May and was wondering is Carnival has a soda card for kids or adults with a flat rate throughout the entire cruise?

Unlimited Soda Program

 

We offer all guests the option to take advantage of the Unlimited Soda Program which provides the guest unlimited soft drinks and juices for the duration of the cruise at a one time purchase price (including 15% service charge). A sticker, to be attached to the guest’s Sail & Sign card can be purchased at the casino bar, lobby bar or pool bar on board the ship.

 

In all locations where bar beverage service is offered, guests will be served a glass of the soft drink or juice of their choice - one 16 ounce glass will be served at a time and only to the guest whose name appears on the Sail & Sign card. The program cannot be used through room service. Note: The Unlimited Soda Program can be used during the port stop in Half Moon Cay.

 

Note: The following beverages are available in the Lido Deck Restaurant, 24/7 and are complimentary: Coffee; Hot Tea; Hot Chocolate; Lemonade; Sweet Ice Tea.

Yes to both ... the amount varies according to the length of the cruise. Do a quick search for soda cards ... I'm positive that there's a post out there with the prices.

be aware you need to drink at least 5 sodas a day for an adult to be worth the price, it is quite pricey in my eyes

1.99 plus gratuity 2.24 total

 

7 day cruise, takes 25 sodas to break even so you have to figure out if it is worth it for you or not.

Also, you can get any of the juices from the bar with it.

You come out ahead if you drink 3 sodas a day. Sodas have gone up. It used to be 5 to come out ahead. The soda cards are one of the best deals on the ship if you drink soda. I don't get it, but DW does.

Just curious... but couldn't one person buy the soda card, and get another soda for their friend/spouse/family?

 

I know you can only get one soda at a time.... but you could get a soda. Then a few minutes later get another?

 

(I don't drink soda, but I was just wondering about the above scenerio)

Yes, only 1 need to buy the card and yes, you could take one over to whoever and go back and get another one, repeat....................

Yeah, I would guess so.

 

I thought I read on another post that everybody on the same S&S card had to purchase the soda card so that the scenerio couldn't happen.

 

I know you are allowed to pack some soda with you on your carry-on along with one bottle of wine per person.

 

I could see how a family with kids / teens would need to save a few extra bucks......

 

Seriously though, I wouldn't buy one card & share with everyone (I have no kids just hubby & me) I was just wondering about it.

That is what my wife and I do, share one card. We barely drink enough together to pay for that one.
