ccookwood Posted October 23, 2010 #1 Share Posted October 23, 2010 Which end of the boat would you recomend? AFT or forward? Also when it says obstructed view...how obstructed is it? I wan to be able to get pictures from it and enjoy it. Thanks

This cabin was located by one of the larger lifeboats but the top of the lifeboat was level with the floor of the balcony so we could see everything except directly below us. Got many great photos from our balcony and would book it again in a heartbeat!!
serene56 Posted October 23, 2010 #4 Share Posted October 23, 2010 If i was to book a balcony cabin on the Spirit- I would book deck 4 aft- Its covered. I can see both sides from the aft. Forward will be too windy.
Linsuesue Posted October 23, 2010 #5 Share Posted October 23, 2010 Book an aft-wrap on deck 4. Those balconies have the most overhang in case it rains. Alaska is all about the journey, so get the biggest balcony you can afford for picture taking. The aft-wraps on deck 4 have a split cabin so you have 2 rooms-both with tvs.
