Compliment to Oceania cruisers

I've used the CC boards to gather information on a number of cruises in the past. I have to say, the cruisers who post on the Oceania boards are the nicest, most informative that I've seen. I recently posted on the luxury boards to vet a Scandanavian cruise, and referred a new cruiser to the Marina, as an "alternative." I was told by a very well informed busy body that "Oceania is NOT a luxury line."

 

I don't think I've recall any Oceania poster that would reply like this. It isn't helpful to the person asking for information. I find that factual information, with some personal specifics is helpful. Oceania posters seem to be very charitable people who willingly offer useful tips and information. This was confirmed when I met the people in person on the ship--they were awesome! Give yourselves a round of applause!

I'm sure that the people on the Oceania boards appreciate your thoughts. There are some very knowledgable and experienced cruisers that offer their ideas and suggestions on these boards.

We all learn from each other, and it's nice to help, and be helped. I am also a recipient of many answers from kind and informative folks on these boards! Our best thanks is to help others who may not have as much experience as we do. :D

I can't cruise without checking the boards first. I have saved time and money with the helpful information posted by fellow cruisers sharing their cruise adventures with all of us.
