Sabatini's on shore days.

We will be on the Golden in February and I am wondering if the speciality restaurants are open for dinner on shore days??

In particular I am wondering about the day we are in Honolulu - we don't sail till around 11 p.m. but its our anniversary and I thought it might be nice to come back on board earlier and have dinner at Sabatini's or?

I would imagine Sabatini's will be open. Sabatini's has been open every night on the 3 Princess cruises I have done. I remember they opened late on the first night to handle saftey drill for a late departure out of San Juan (11pm). Otherwise, it was business as usual. Have a great anniversary dinner whatever you decide to do.

I believe that Sabatini's, as well as all other dining rooms, was open in Honolulu on all our previous cruises there. I found Patters from our October 2008 cruise, and there was no mention of any restaurant being closed. I remember very clearly that we ate in the Anytime Dining Room that evening, as it was my birthday, and we had a wonderful time.

I would go ahead and plan on it. You can check as soon as your board for reservations, and know for sure.

Have a very Happy Anniversary!

Thanks much for your replies - we won't be tired out - have been in the Islands lots of times - so will do a day room at the HHV - so will be rested up and eager for a fun dinner and evening on board. It will be our 48th anniversary.

Congratulations on your upcoming 48th anniversary. That's great. What a wonderful way to celebrate - cruise to Hawaii and Sabatini's for dinner:)
