Shopping before boarding cruise ship at port of Miami

We will stay at a hotel right by the airport the night before the sail off date. Dolphin mall is about 15 minutes cab drive from the hotel, but it's in the opposite direction to port of Miami. We are thinking of doing some shopping for couple of hours (10AM-1:00PM) before getting on board, is this a good idea? Thanks.

Depends upon what you are shopping for. :confused: There is a local strip mall with drug store, grocery, Starbucks etc. within walking distance of many Blue Lagoon area hotels near MIA. We picked up some soda and wine there, and then relaxed in the pool/hot tub before heading to POM at 11:30. Good Luck! :)

If you need just basic items there is a CVS which is not too far from Bayside.
